Such a positive experience! Boonstra quickly send a technician to deal with our furnace. Leonard was great! He arrived on time, quickly assessed the issue and didn’t try to upsell. Leonard was very friendly; a pleasure to deal with. He deserves a bonus!

Charles and his apprentice (don’t recall his name) were excellent installer’s! The worked quickly and were very diligent at keeping our newly renovated home clean. The new tankless water heater they installed works very well with zero issues. They were sure to instruct us on its use and didn’t leave until we were able to use it with ease. Also, Chris, the rep that helped us select the unit we purchased was very patient and helpful.

Jeff H. was very polite and he explained everything to me clearly. He answered all my questions. He was also respectful of my home by covering his boots and I am very thankful.
I'm really glad that I chose Boonstra when my furnace/air conditioner went crazy. I called and they were there within 2 hrs. He fixed what he could, it is after all 21 yrs old and we both agreed I need a new furnace.
They are coming today to talk about it.

After almost 2 years of dealing with an unresolved HVAC issue, Jeff was the only technician who was able to figure it out. I purchased a new HVAC system from Boonstra and noticed something very strange — whenever the heat was on, the water would turn cold. Multiple technicians came out over time, but no one could identify the problem.
Jeff is a true genius. With his experience and expertise, he quickly identified the root cause and resolved the issue immediately. You can tell he genuinely cares about his work and his customers.
Big kudos as well to his team — Keegan, Leo, and Luke — for their professionalism and support. This is the kind of service that really stands out. Highly recommend!

Jimmy from Boonstra came today to do maintenance on my furnace, and he truly went above and beyond. He took the time to explain how everything works in a way that actually made sense, pointed out what was and wasn’t right, and gave fair, honest, and trustworthy advice without any pressure.
What really stood out was that he didn’t rush — he made sure I understood why certain things mattered and what my options were. On top of that, I genuinely liked him as a person. I really appreciated him taking the time to explain things clearly and being fair and honest with his suggestions.
It’s rare to find someone who is both knowledgeable and trustworthy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jimmy.

Brandon M. arrived nice early within the expected time window and was super friendly and attentive throughout the visit. He took the time to clearly explain the issues with my furnace and walked me through what needed to be done in a very educational, easy-to-understand way. He was thorough and professional. I called them at 8am and they sent a technician to my house shortly after 10am. That was very fast! They provide vehicle tracking to see how far the tech is from your house which is amazing. They also gave me a full diagnostic email with attachments and images very shortly after the work was completed. Price was also very reasonable. I am very impressed with their overall service. 10/10

Chris called to tell me he could come earlier which was excellent. He then proceeded to do a very careful and thorough diagnostic and fixed the part. He was excellent. He has been with the company for 8 years and I hope that they appreciate how good he is. Lovely young man and very skilled.

Being a tradesman myself I quickly recognized the professional team I was dealing with. They were able to accurately and quickly answer my questions and provide excellent and efficient options. I think Boonstra are fantastic and responded to my request for a service call within 24 hours during the heat wave on Tuesday, June 24 when the temp was 36C. Amazing really. Kevin P. was our technician and diagnosed the issue in minutes and completed the repair. He was organized, neat and professional. This company is customer focused and know what they are doing. I wouldn’t do business with anyone else.

Needed our central air fixed....called Boonstra. They came within a day. (Weekend service call)Technician Jimmy was polite and went straight to work. He identified the issue quickly. Fixed it within minutes. The price was affordable and now the temperature in our house is livable again. Thanks Jimmy for fixing the AC on what seemed like the hottest day ever. We would definitely call Boonstra again.

Michael S. from Boonstra was absolutely amazing! He spent the entire afternoon replacing my air conditioning unit. Michael and his companion were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional and left my place spotless, which I really appreciated. While the initial technician was unable to rectify the problem, Boonstra has been responsive and working to complete the repair within their stated timeline. An appointment for a senior technician was made and the problem should be resolved within 24 hours. I appreciate that they are working hard to complete the repair quickly and have self-incentivized with the guarantee to provide me with $1000 if my system isn’t fixed within 24 hours (eligibility due to it’s installation being less than a year ago). My experience with Boonstra has always been positive and I am happy to recommend them if you need the services they provide.

Technician was great, I had appliances from 3 different companies, he came and checked the furnace from Boonstra to make sure there was no warranty defects, and showed me the likely issue, which was under warranty from the other equipment provider. Very appreciative of the help. I'd recommend them for any future service and will definitely use them when we replace the older units.

Andrew investigated our issues and proposed several solutions to solve the problems. Andrew is a straight shooter and his skill and experience got replacement procedures to change our 7! year old mini-split ordered and installed in 4 days. Daniel and his partner did a terrific installation. They were Professionals. Skilled, courteous efficient ,fast and they left the worksite perfect including reinstalling the TV, The Boonstra team was Terrific!!!

I had a furnace and air conditioner installed back in Dec. 24. As it was too cold, they said they would have to come back in the warmer weather to start up my air conditioner.

Efficient and affordable. Professional and down to earth workers. From the beginning of choosing what was best for my AC needs and buying a new water heater, James sat with me and discussed all the options. Then having Daniel and his crew come the next day to install it all. They were efficient, professional and very knowledgeable. What’s great is that Boonstra uses their own people to come and install. They took everything apart and put everything new in. I recommend Boonstra to anyone who wants a smooth process in buying the best equipment for what you need and having the job done right.

I recently had a new furnace and A/C system installed, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The technicians arrived on time, were professional throughout the entire process, and made sure everything was installed correctly. I had them complete a duct cleaning for me. Zakkary and Calum (hope i spelt that right) Absolutely amazing guys.. so friendly.. they brought treats for my dog. The work was efficient and the results spectacular. My house literally feels sooo much cleaner. Zakkary shared video and also showed me how much stuff was in my duct work. Its been 17 years since my last duct cleaning. Should be done every five years. If you want excellent service and superior work.. go to Boomstra!!! I'll be back in 5 years!!!

I have Boonstra come out to check our furnace/air conditioner every spring and fall. They have always been very kind, honest and even give good honest opinions. I've never had a bad experience with any of their technicians! This time we had Jimmy. As expected, very curious, polite and thorough.

I had issues with my furnace and Andrew was so efficient and knowledgeable. He got it running in less than 30 minutes.
Even booking the service was very simple and they provide real time tracking so you can have a better idea of when the technician will be there! All in all, 10/10 service 🙂

Called for emergency service about 10:30 as it looked like my thermostat was not operating (after I changed batteries). Boonstra put me on hold to find out if their service rep had a thermostat on board. Jeff arrived a couple of hours later, tested, replaced and demoed the device programs. All was well and house started warming up right away. Very very happy with the service and my rep.

Really great service from Nolan representing Boonstra. We’ve previously had a heat pump installed from them and this time had a new electric water heater installed. Service was prompt and detailed and we’d been happy to recommend them to anyone needing their services.

An update! We had our furnace installed without an issue. We did have an issue with the new thermostat. Luke came out and fixed it in a very timely manner. He was very sympathetic to our dilemma and was very courteous.

Pleased with new humidifier! Current one was installed by builder and was crap from day one. First time calling Boonstra. Saw excellent reviews. April and Leah immediately responded to my initial requests for information and a quote by phone. Two days later, Jimmy and Phil arrived on time, allowed me to watch them do the installation, unit was tested, and I received a maintenance lesson. I was impressed by their friendliness, neatness, caring attitude and quality installation. I know this was a small job, but the whole experience was awesome. Very much appreciated. Will definitely be using Boonstra again.
